Description

Located at 6/2 Tverskaya street, the restaurant serves high end Georgian, Armenian, and Caucasian cuisine, and is famous for historically being a hangout for the KGB, as well as being one of the oldest restaurants in Moscow in continuous operation. It was founded in 1938 as the first restaurant in Moscow to serve Georgian food and has had a number of famous patrons, including Lavrenty Beria chief of the NKVD, Stalin's son Vasily, and British spy Kim Philby.
