The restaurant is located at 29 Neglinnaya street and offers a wide variety of broadly Central Asian food mainly from Uzbekistan, as well as dishes from China, the Middle East, and Azerbaijan. In 1997, White Sun of the Desert was created as one of Moscow's first "theme" restaurants, as the founders' inspiration was to create a restaurant based on Soviet "eastern" films.
